ASCII Reference in HTML

ASCII stands for the "American Standard Code for Information Interchange". It was designed as a standard character set for computers and other devices. ASCII is a 7 bit character set containing 128 characters. The set contains the numbers from 0-9, uppercase and lowercase letters from A to z, and other special characters. The following table lists the 128 ASCII characters and their equivalent HTML entity codes. Please note that 0-31 and 127 cannot be used for HTML. That leaves us with 95 printable characters from this set.
